James R. Cissell is a United Methodist
minister in South Dakota where he has served parishes for
over 30 years. Writing has been a passion during that time. From
sermons to plays for youth groups to theology papers, he has written
in a variety of styles for a range of audiences.
He is a member of the Black Hills Writers
Group, the Wesleyan Theological Society and the Charles Wesley
Society. He is married and the couple has two grown daughters. His
previous works include The
SING-ular Faith: a Daily Devotional With Charles Wesley
(Outskirts Press, 2009) and the novel, The Dragon Cast Down
(Publish America, 2010).
